Smash repairers are asked to draw knowledge from all sectors of the motor industry to perform a succesfull and safe repair. It is important that workshops and staff  keep their skill levels up to the standards required to perform smash repairs to todays car. Understanding the value, need and importance of training, i became involved in I-CAR in 2007 shortley after they introduced themselves to the Australian market. I have since performed collision repair corses and safe repair techniques for repair facilitlies and insurance compaines through out Australia. Drawing on I-CARS wealth of knowledge and close links to masnufacturers you can be assured that your car will be safely repaired to manufacturers specifications when repaired at my repair facility in Bondi. Formed by the collision industry in 1979, I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, is a not-for-profit training organization focused on education, knowledge and solutions for the Collision Repair Inter-Industry. The primary goal of I-CAR is complete and safe repairs for the ultimate benefit of the consumer.

I-CAR Australia was launched in September 2006 and joins Canada and New Zealand as part of I-CAR’s global expansion.  I-CAR Australia is operated by the industry for the industry under a Licence Agreement.  The Australian program focuses on providing Post Qualification skills enhancement education training and information to the entire industry.

I-CAR develops and delivers technical training programs to professionals in all areas of the Collision Repair Inter-Industry. In addition, I-CAR provides a communication forum for anyone interested in proper collision repair. I-CAR's primary funding is derived from student tuition and services. This assures that I-CAR can remain unbiased in developing programs and services on an industry-wide basis.
